Seefeld in Tirol is located only a half hour by car from Innsbruck, this region is a hidden gem. In the winter, it is a great destination for skiing and snowboarding as the mountains have snow for six months of the year! One of the most stunning places for nature and to try some unique foods. and experience a different culture. We came in Summer and this was a great time to hike and explore the area with its breathtaking scenery and the best part is having a whole view to yourself, you won’t find many around you.

Visit Innsbruck – The Tyrolean capital of Innsbruck is surrounded by the stunning Alps and only a half hour train ride you must go visit here.
Kaltwassersee – A beautiful tranquil place with peaceful views and areas to have a picnic especially if you enjoy a steep walk for a great reward, the lake here is stunning.
Rosshutte- You can take the Funicular train to the Rosshutte or walk up and the views will blow your mind, you can grab a snack and coffee here, definitely a must for anybody visiting Seefeld.

Waldgasthaus Triendlsage $$-$$$ – An absolute gem in the most incredible area of Seefeld, if you love nature and stunning scenery, come and have dinner here to relax with a great atmosphere. The restaurant is cosy friendly and full of traditional local food! The staff are incredibly welcoming and the decking area is a great place to enjoy a drink in winter or summer. There is also a hut that can be rented for a party located next to the restaurant, one of the most remarkable places I have seen in the middle of the woods, a place to remember!
Birkenlift Food & Drink $$-$$$ – Cosy, friendly and delicious Greek cuisine! What a better way to spend the evening after a day in the snow, you can fit all your friends here comfortably and enjoy some tasty food. In the summer there is a decking also, a nice way to enjoy some peach schnapps and you have to try the burger and Tzatziki here, delicious! The staff are more than welcoming and enjoy a chat with their customers, a great place with great company!
Strandperle $$$ – Situated on the Wildsee Lake this is the perfect place to stop during the day or for a romantic dinner, the setting is superb while eating on the lake watching the sunset, it is stunning. The food is delicious and made with a lot of detail and thought, everything is fresh and the wine compliments each dish. We recommend asking the waiter for the taster menu, as it is definitely worth the money.

The hotel is in the centre of Seefeld in Tirol and opposite the train station. The hotel is kept clean with the rooms being extremely spacious offering beautiful views from the balcony and in the evenings you can enjoy the spa which includes a sauna, jacuzzi pool and gym. Breakfast is served to perfection with fresh fruits, bread, cheese, hams and a huge selection of drinks, you will find delicious hot food also. If you are wanting a comfortable stay in a great location, this is the perfect place to visit in Seefeld.
Hotel Schoenegg $$ – A very traditional Austrian hotel with beautiful views, offering a comfortable and clean stay in a good locations. The breakfast is presented well with a great selection of foods and the staff here are extremely friendly and helpful.
Astoria Resort $$$$ – This hotel is luxurious and a stay you will never forget! Around £250 a night it is expensive but if you are looking to spoil someone you won’t be disappointed. The hotel grounds are spectacular with the pool outside being a treat on a sunny day and one of the highlights is the spa, a real taste of luxury. The food is delicious and the staff are more than welcoming, a great choice if you fancy something extra special!
